For the naturalist learners out there - if anyone is doing a unit that explores environmentalism in NYC, I use this site to find the city's greenmarkets. Upon closer inspection, it actually has lots of great info on green events all throughout the city.

Here's a link to another website about this project by the Wildlife Conservation Society. It's called Mannahatta, and looks at the island of Manhattan (surrounds boroughs should not feel neglected) before it was settled by Native Americans and later, Europeans. Check it out.

Hi Chris -- Here is a way to make the URLs you listed in this blog post "active."
ReplyDeleteHi Monica --
You select the text you want to link to (such as as the URL itself) then click on the "link" icon in the toolbar.
The "link" icon looks like a chain ... it's the 5th icon from the left.
A window will pop up where you can paste the URL to your video or other resource, hit OK, then save and publish your post. You can edit this post to include the active links.

Thanks Jessica, I forget to link the URL.
ReplyDeleteThat's ok - you can always go back and do it! :)
